The 2006 2007 Suzuki Aerio SX offers exciting design with crisp lines and sporty aerodynamic treatments that help disguise the boxy dimensions characteristic of most hatchbacks. Enigmatic indented round foglamps add a mysterious, otherworldly appearance along with the large triangular polycarbonate shields and multi-lens headlamp clusters. The Aerio SX is Suzuki's crossover that is based on the SX concept unveiled at the 2001 New York Auto Show.
The SX "Sport Crossover" concept was designed to fit between a sport sedan and an SUV. The Aerio starts at a price lower than many of its competitors but offers one of the largest standard engines, available all-wheel drive, and one of the best warranties. A powerful dual-cam 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder engine produces 141 hp at 5,700 rpm and torque numbers of 135 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm. A manual five-speed is standard for the Aerio SX, but a four-speed is also available. The 2006 2007 Suzuki Aerio exhibits good handling and road stability at all speeds due to MacPherson struts front and rear. The Aerio SX receives a larger 155-horsepower 2.3-liter engine for 2006 2007. The 2006 2007 Aerio SX's cabin is fairly quiet for a small car, due to added liquid-filled mounts for the engine and insulation around the passenger compartment. Suzuki also offers an Aerio sedan derived from the same chassis, powertrain, mechanical gear, and essential equipment as the hatchback.
